How It Works: Towering Strength, Gentle Delivery
The Giraffe Destacker is the mechanical muscle at the beginning of your dry timber handling line. A forklift places a full kiln pack onto the heavy-duty infeed chains. The Giraffe system then hoists the entire pack vertically and tilts it at a precise angle.
As the hoist increments upwards, individual layers of timber slide smoothly onto the cross-feed conveyor leading to the Trim Deck. Crucially, as the timber slides off, the wooden kiln sticks (or runners) drop away cleanly into an integrated collection system, leaving a flawless, single-layer stream of lumber.
