Lug Loader
Following the unscrambler, the Lug Loader precisely times and places each board into a lugged chain conveyor. By ensuring each board is perfectly positioned and spaced, the lug loader creates a consistent, uninterrupted flow of timber, which is essential for accurate scanning and sorting.
Board Scanner
This is the intelligent heart of the sorting line. Our advanced Board Scanning systems use state-of-the-art technology to instantly measure the exact dimensions—length, width, and thickness—of every board that passes through. This data is captured in real-time and used to make immediate, accurate sorting decisions.
Bin Sorter
Using the data from the scanner, the Bin Sorter is the workhorse that executes the sorting commands. As boards travel down the conveyor, the system directs each one into a specific bin based on its dimensions or grade. Our bin sorters are designed for high-speed operation and gentle handling to fill each bay quickly and efficiently with uniform lumber.
Stacker
Once a bin is full, the final step is the Stacker. This machine automatically takes the sorted lumber from the bin and creates neat, uniform stacks. These perfectly aligned stacks are optimised for airflow in the drying kiln and are stable for safe and easy handling by forklifts, ready for the next stage of the process.
